The Spirit of Adoption, by William Stuart-Lee
Did you know that Jesus was adopted? Joseph married Jesus' mother, Mary, and formally adopted the infant Jesus as his own. He provided for Jesus into his teen years, which is when most Bible scholars agree that he passed away. Jesus knows what it's like to lose a loved parent, and he wants to comfort all of us for our losses and be our adoptive Father.
