Revelation Part 3 - Pergamum, by William Stuart-Lee
"I know where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. Yet you hold fast my name, and you did not deny my faith." - Revelation 2:13
The Church in Pergamum, which was the ancient capital city of the Roman province of Asia, faced a great spiritual darkness in their day to day lives. They were surrounded by false gods, pagan temples and rituals, and pressure to live in the way that would please the world but would not glorify God. Jesus' letter to them encourages and equips them (and us!) to stand firm and strong in God's faithfulness, and to trust in His salvation and sustenance.
Join us as Pastor William unwraps this passage in his message on the letter of Jesus to the Christian Church in Pergamum in part 3 of our sermon series on the Book of Revelation.
